My SPC Story
I love that I get the opportunity to help people on a daily basis and being able to have a positive impact in our community never gets old. My position at SPC allows me to listen, educate, and build lasting relationships with others .
The relationships I have built with members are a true blessing in my life. I have worked for SPC my entire adult life and I feel that this environment and the people I have encountered have helped me grow into the person that I'm so very proud to be.
SPC has developed an atmosphere where collaboration is welcomed and where it’s ok to actually love the people with whom you work. There has never been a day in the four and a half years that I have worked at SPC that I did not wake up excited about going to work. I am beyond blessed and grateful that SPC gave me a place to call home where I have the support to try without fear.
My career at SPC has helped shape my sense of community and allowed me to feel accomplished at the end of my day. Working here has fueled my passion to truly make life better for someone else and that brings me a great sense of pride and purpose.
When I was younger, I passed by SPC every day and wondered what it would be like to work here. I eventually had the opportunity to join the SPC team and quickly realized it was more than a workplace, it was a family. Twenty-two years later this “family” is still in the business of loving people and I’m so thankful to be a part of it.
